Residents of Kirkby must travel to other parts of Merseyside and West Lancashire for further education
Following the closure of the Kirkby Campus of Knowsley Community College in 2013, and the end to sixth form education at All Saints High School, Kirkby no longer has a further education provision within the town, except for post 16 provision at Bluebell Park School for students with severe and complex learning needs.
